The members of the Hever Parish Council are:

John Hodson (Chair)

Business experience in finance in City. Member of Four Elms Church Parish Church Council. Trustee of Stonebridge Trust charity for benefit of Edenbridge residents.

Joanna Wade (Vice Chair)

Employment Judge, trained as a solicitor and has experience of matrimonial, criminal and housing law, later specialising in Employment Law, awarded MBE for work as Legal Officer at the charity Maternity Alliance. Has been partner in two firms, co-founding the second in 2001 which was a specialist employment discrimination firm.

Has strong association with homelessness issues in particular and after years with Crisis is now Senior Independent Director (and chair of the Governance Committee) on the Board of Thames Reach, a charity working for homeless people in London.

Lives on and really enjoys running a smallholding with civil partner Jane. Helps out at Edenbridge Primary School.

Christine Thompson (Councillor)

BSc(Hons) Degree in Estate Management, Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors – General Practice. Trustee of the Westerham Almshouse Charity, Trustee of Four Elms Village Hall Trust.

John Southworth (Councillor)

Chartered Accountant: Practice in Four Elms looking after local businesses and private clients. Moved to Four Elms in 1980. Trustee of both village halls in Four Elms.

Stephen Lark (Councillor)

Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Company Director of Insurance Broking and Employee Benefits Companies.
Has lived in Hever with his wife and 3 children since 1997.

Duncan Leslie (Councillor)

Chief Executive of Hever Castle Ltd and Hever Castle Golf Club Ltd, a member of the RICS – rural practice, trustee of Fairburn Estate in Ross-shire, committee member of South East Region Historic Houses Association.
Prior to working at Hever Castle, he managed various estates including Ardverikie Estate, better known as Glenbogle in “Monarch of the Glen” in Inverness-shire, Firle Estate near Lewes in East Sussex and Wilton Estate in Wiltshire.
Duncan has three young children, who are particular fans of their Daddy’s workplace.

Anita Sebastian (Councillor)

Qualified as a Charted Secretary at Guildhall University in London and held the position of Personnel Director and Secretary for a small group of Companies in Kent prior to returning to London as Deputy Secretary for a multinational company in the City.

Lives in Hever with her husband where they have been resident for 27 years.

Louise Nightingale (Councillor)

Louise moved to Four Elms in 2008 from the North West of England and works as IT Strategy Analyst. She joined the village fete committee shortly after moving to the area and is now heavily involved in the organisation and set-up of the fete which is hard work but very rewarding. Louise joined the council in 2010 and hopes that she can work with the village and local community in conjunction with the parish plan to build on the good things we have already to make the parish a great place to live.

Rick Brookes-Smith (Councillor)

Antique dealer and furniture expert . Part time fine art auctioneer. Mark Beech resident since 1994. For a number of years a member of the Mark Beech village hall committee. Now runs Edenbridge based commercial and residential property business.
Bonnie White  (Councillor)
Has lived in Four Elms for over 30 years.  Employed by a leading UK children’s charity as a senior fundraising relationship manager.  Spent 12 years as a member of the Four Elms fete committee.
