Hever Litter Pick - Saturday 23 March

Come and join in! It is good fun, with free refreshments and great exercise. If possible, please bring your own gloves, and wear appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear.

Litter pickers, bin bags and fluorescent jackets are provided.

Please meet at 9.30am at Hever Village Hall.

Easter Egg Hunt - Saturday 30 March

All children great and small are welcomed at the Church to hunt for delicious eggs.

Meet at 3.30pm at St. Peter’s Church, Hever, in the churchyard (inside the church if wet). There will also be pebble painting and games, and coffee and cake for the adults.

Entry is free with a collection for the refurbishment of Hever Village Hall.

Christmas Carols at St. Peter’s Church

Family Christmas carols were held at St Peter’s Church, Hever, on  Saturday 9th December. Celebrations started at the Henry at 4.30pm with mulled wine and mince pies and then in St Peters Church at 5.30pm where Edenbridge Town Band accompanied us to get into the festive spirit.

Halloween Pumpkin Party

We organised a Halloween Pumpkin Party for young witches, ghosts, mummies and other costumed children.  This year they enjoyed games, crafts, face painting and cake making. We hope you all had a hauntingly good time!

Meet the Village

We helped organise Meet the village.  An event to showcase village organisations, clubs, groups and small businesses to local residents.  The aim being to show people what we do as a village and get more people interested in supporting the various groups. 

King’s Coronation

We helped organise a live screening of the King’s Coronation at Hever Castle with the help of the Hever Festival Theatre and the Parish Council.

In previous years we have also...

Celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 

We helped organise a fabulous celebration held in the grounds of Hever Castle.  We were thrilled that 1,000 people came with their picnics to celebrate our wonderful, late Queen.

Held Scarecrow Competitions

The village was decorated with numerous fabulous scarecrows, all competing for prizes.  Please see here for the 2019 photo gallery.

Held a basic Life Saving Course

Thanks to Edenbridge Community First Responders who demonstrated how to use a defibrillator and perform heart resuscitation and the Heimlich manoeuvre.

Yarn bombed the village…

For Prince Harry and Megan’s wedding.  The couple were seen waiting at the bus stop for the next bus to Windsor!
