HRA hold a number of annual events aimed at bringing the community together.
We are pleased to announce our 2020 Lockdown Scarecrow Competition!
To keep us all occupied and to make our village walks and cycle rides more entertaining we thought we’d bring back our popular scarecrow competition.
We invite everyone to make a scarecrow, put it up outside your house and email us your name, address and scarecrow’s name to firstname.lastname@example.org. More details to follow.
VE 75 celebrations
Unfortunately in the current environment we took the decision not to go ahead with our planned VE 75 celebrations. However, thanks to The Henry and The Scott Partnership we did manage to light the beacon to commemorate all those who served in WWII.
This is a taste of what we did in 2019…
Family Christmas Carols
Once again this was held in conjunction with St Peter’s Church, the Parish Council and the Henry. Edenbridge Town Band accompanied us and helped us get into the festive spirit.
Thanks to you, we also donated £88.50 to the Hospice in the Weald Charity.
A Halloween Party
Thank you to all the magnificent helpers who helped make the Halloween Party so Spooktacular this year. We had over 70 children enjoying the games, crafts, pumpkin carving, face painting and cake making.
Once again we were amazed by the fabulous entries. Please see here for the 2019 Photo Gallery of all the amazing Scarecrows.
Congratulations to all our winners:
