The members of the Hever Parish Council are:

Angela Haydon (Chair, Four Elms ward)

BSc (Hons) in Electronics, 27 years business management experience working for a leading Healthcare company within the UK and Europe.  Has lived in Four Elms village since 1986 with her husband and two daughters.

 

Joanna Wade (Hever ward)

Employment Judge and solicitor.  Represents the PC on the Hever Residents Association committee, member of the Hever village hall management committee and Parish Church fundraising committee.  Runs the Village Screen film club.

 

 

Stephen Lark (Vice Chair, Hever ward)

Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Company Director of Insurance Broking and Employee Benefits Companies.  Has lived in Hever with his wife and 3 children since 1997.

 

Duncan Leslie (Councillor, Hever ward)

I have 4 children and I am Chairman of the South East Region of the Historic Houses Association.

 

Philip Lindsay (Hever ward)

An active member of the community, Philip represents the PC on the Hever Residents Association committee, rings the bells at St Peters, Hever and sings in the choirs occasionally at Hever and Markbeech.  Happy to have retired from full time employment after a long career in financial services.

 

 

 

Rick Brookes-Smith (Councillor, Hever / Markbeech ward)

Antique dealer and furniture expert . Part time fine art auctioneer. Mark Beech resident since 1994.  For a number of years a member of the Mark Beech village hall committee. Now runs Edenbridge based commercial and residential property business.

 

Nick Roberts (Councillor, Four Elms ward)

I moved from London to Four Elms, with my wife & family, in 2006. Our four children have all been educated locally. I worked in the City of London for over 30 years but retired in June 2017 to focus on charity work, hobbies & interests. I now have a wood workshop where I teach myself carpentry.

Mark Thomas (Councillor, Four Elms Ward)

I work in the construction industry as a surveyor and project manager.  I moved to Mark Beech with my wife in 2021 and I have a wide range of interests and hobbies namely golf, cycling, motorbikes and  enjoying the countryside.

 

Hilary Jones (Councillor, Four Elms Ward)

Retired HR Partner with BSc (Hons) degrees in Psychology and Homeopathy; has lived in Four Elms with husband and three children since 1996. Previously worked in various roles with Citizens Advice, Edenbridge, and is a former Governor of Hever Church of England Primary School.  Keen gardener, walker, golfer and singer.
