Following the late May bank holiday, there will be some changes to residents’ refuse, recycling and garden waste collection days.
There will be no collections on Monday 29 May and all collections this week will be one day later than usual until Saturday 3 June.
Residents are requested to put their black and clear sacks and their garden waste out at 7am on their collection day.

Please come along to the Annual Parish Assembly on Thursday 25th May. This will be held in Markbeech Village Hall at 7.00 pm.
In addition to hearing about your Parish Council, we have a range of interesting speakers lined up for the evening, such as Tom Tugendhat, MP, and representatives from local organisations and services. Drinks and refreshments are provided and the chance to chat to local residents and Councillors after the presentations too. The event is free to everyone who lives in Four Elms, Hever or Markbeech. The next Hever Parish Council Meeting will be the Annual Meeting on Tuesday 16th May, 7.00 pm in Four Elms Village Hall. This will be followed at 8.15 pm by the Planning Meeting.

Edenbridge Leisure Centre and Sevenoaks Leisure Centre are hosting open days on Monday, May 1.
Olympic gold medallists in the Modern Pentathlon, Joe Choong MBE and Kate French MBE, will be making guest appearances at both centres.
Managed by Everyone Active in partnership with Sevenoaks District Council, the centres will be offering the local community a day of action packed and fun filled activity, all for free.
Running from 8am to 8pm, the centres will be offering a wide array of activities including Gym and Swim, Group Exercise, Feel Good Suite and Sports Hall activity taster sessions, alongside face painting and balloon modelling.
Customers will be invited to meet and greet the attending Olympians, who will be visiting Sevenoaks Leisure Centre from 10am to 11am, followed by Edenbridge Leisure Centre from 12pm to 1pm.
